Benson WU | Founding CEO, Queer Screen

Benson WU (he/him) is a well-regarded arts leader and festival professional with an accomplished career across major cultural events in Australia and internationally. He is currently the inaugural CEO of Queer Screen, the organization behind Sydney’s Mardi Gras Film Festival (February) and Queer Screen Film Fest (August). From 2018 to 2024, he was the Co-Founder and Festival Director of the Taiwan Film Festival in Australia, where he championed Taiwanese cinema and fostered cross-cultural exchange.

With extensive expertise in both marketing and programming, Wu has contributed to leading festivals including the Sydney Film Festival, SXSW Sydney, and the Inner West Film Festival, as well as international events such as the Taiwan International Queer Film Festival and Cinema at Sea – Okinawa Pan-Pacific International Film Festival.

Passionate about diverse representation, equality, and storytelling, Wu continues to advocate for inclusive programming and to create platforms that connect audiences with bold and underrepresented voices in cinema.


Allegra MADSEN | Executive Director, Frameline San Francisco, USA

Allegra MADSEN serves as the Executive Director of Frameline, the world's largest and longest-running LGBTQ+ film festival and media arts organization. She is dedicated to the mission of transforming perspectives through the power of queer cinema.

With extensive experience in program development and nonprofit operations, she has strengthened Frameline’s foundation and expanded its global reach. Her collaborative leadership has enabled the organization to deliver accessible and inclusive storytelling through diverse programming, digital initiatives, and innovative projects. By fostering cultural exchange and community connection, she and her team ensure that queer voices and experiences are amplified across media platforms, reaching increasingly diverse audiences worldwide.


OH Seok-geun | Director / Former Chairperson, Korean Film Council

After graduating from the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA), OH Seokgeun directed Do It as You Want (1990) and The 101st Proposition. As a founding member of the Busan International Film Festival, he served as its first Secretary General (1996–2000) and later produced the Korea–Japan–Thailand omnibus film Camellia. He went on to serve as Chairman of the Busan Film Commission and Chair of the Asian Film Commissions Network (AFCNet). From 2018 to 2021, he was Chairman of the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), and from 2021 to 2023, he served as Chair of the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) at the Busan International Film Festival, contributing to the joint development of the Korean and Asian film industries.

JEON Chan-il | Film Critic 

In November 1993, he entered the field of film criticism with a contribution to the monthly magazine Mal. From 2002 to 2007, he worked as a coordinator, and from 2009 to 2016, he served in various roles at the Busan International Film Festival, including programmer, deputy director of the market, and director of the Film Research Institute.

Expanding the scope of his critical activities, he has been a regular contributor for six years to the Cinema Hell segment on the popular podcast and YouTube show Mabul Show, and currently hosts his own YouTube channel, Cannes Chan-il’s Cine-Kick. His publications include 10 Perspectives on Watching Films (co-authored with film critic and YouTuber Liner, 2024) and Bong Joon-ho: The Director Who Became a Genre (2020).


LEE Hwa-jung | Film Journalist

Former Head of Reporting at Cine21, she is currently a member of Movie Gunjo on YouTube and a guest critic for Cineplay, an official Naver film content partner. She also serves as a programmer for Bechdel Day, which promotes gender equality awareness in the film industry. She has appeared on JTBC’s Movie Room 1 (๋ฐฉ๊ตฌ์„ 1์—ด), MBC’s Let’s Go! Video Travel (์ถœ๋ฐœ! ๋น„๋””์˜ค์—ฌํ–‰), and YouTube’s The Time to Change the World: 15 Minutes (์„ธ์ƒ์„ ๋ฐ”๊พธ๋Š” ์‹œ๊ฐ„ 15๋ถ„). Her publications include the book Can Film Reviews Be Recalled?


Martin LEE | Programmer, BIFAN

Martin LEE majored in Chinese Literature and English Literature and holds a Master’s degree in Film Arts (Screenwriting). He has worked at the Korean Film Archive and the Asian Film Market of the Busan International Film Festival. Since 2010, he has been with the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, where he began as a Program Coordinator and later served as Head of Content Management and Program Manager. He is currently a Programmer in charge of Asian and Korean films.

KIM Se-won | Actor

Actor KIM Sewon, born in 2001, has emerged as a promising next-generation talent through short and independent films. With her leading role in Yurim, she won the Sonje Award in the Wide Angle section at the 29th Busan International Film Festival and the Best Performance Award in the Korean Short Film Competition at the 14th Seoul International Pride Film Festival, affirming her impressive acting skills. Known for her delicate emotional expression and natural performances, she continues to expand into diverse genres and is widely regarded as an actor whose growth and future trajectory are highly anticipated.


JANG Kun-jae | Producer & Director

JANG Kun-jae is an executive producer and director of MOCUSHURA Inc, a creative production company engaged in film production, publishing, and public lectures. He has directed seven feature films and one television series, including EIGHTEEN (2009), SLEEPLESS NIGHT (2012), A MIDSUMMER’S FANTASIA (2014), VESTIGE (2020), JUHEE FROM 5 TO 7 (2022), BECAUSE I HATE KOREA (2023), THE INITIAL MEMORIES (2025), and the TV series MONSTROUS (2022). His works have been screened and exhibited in over 70 cities worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Paris, Cannes, Rotterdam, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Buenos Aires. They have also garnered critical acclaim and received numerous international awards. Since 2012, JANG has served as a professor in the Department of Film at Yong-In University.




Alemberg ANG | Producer

After being a school teacher for ten years, Alemberg ANG shifted into a career in film producing. Having traveled extensively to festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, Locarno, and Busan, his films seek to give cultural minorities a voice in world cinema. Working primarily with filmmakers on their first and second features, his filmography includes Renoir (2025, Cannes Film Festival, Main Competition) by Chie Hayakawa, 10s Across the Borders (2025, Busan International Film Festival, Wide Angle Documentary Competition) by Sze-Wei Chan, and Honey, My Love, So Sweet (2025, Locarno Film Festival, Short Film Competition) by JT Trinidad.

Ang has participated in numerous international professional programs, including the Rotterdam Lab (2012), Berlinale Talents (2013, 2021), Tribeca Film Institute Network (2019), Locarno Open Doors (2019), La Fabrique Cinéma du Monde (2021), IDFA Producers Connection (2021), and EAVE Producers Workshop (2022).




Tony HONG PRIDE Award (Acting Award)
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of HONG Seok-Cheon’s coming out, the Tony HONG PRIDE Award has been newly established beginning in 2025, with his generous sponsorship supporting the cash prize for the Acting Award in the Korean Short Film Competition section.
Presented to an actor who delivers an outstanding performance in a Korean short film at the Seoul International PRIDE Film Festival, this award honors the courage and value of diversity that Hong has embodied since coming out, while aiming to inspire solidarity and hope for the next generation.


LUSH Korea PRIDE Award (Best Film Award)
Starting in 2025, the LUSH Korea PRIDE Award recognizes the Best Film in the Korean Short Film Competition section, supported by LUSH Korea.
This award reflects LUSH Korea’s long-standing commitment to LGBTQ and DEI human rights initiatives through its “LGBTQ & DEI Film Fund,” continuing the brand’s ongoing advocacy for equality and representation.
