Rainbow Section
The Seoul LGBT Film Festival’s Rainbow Section presents movies of various genres and subject matter that correspond with what the six colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple) each represent. For the color of passion, ‘red,’ we present films that are intense and highly expressive; for ‘orange,’ thoughtful films of a strong social nature that view the world with a deep and clear perspective; for yellow, a color that is the messenger of hope and laughter, a collection of films that convey joy and fun; for ‘green,’ humanistic films about the companionships in our lives; for ‘blue,’ coming-of-age stories that remind us of our own heart-fluttering memories; and for ‘purple,’ films that peer into the desolation and sorrows of life.
