| Synopsis |

Zurich in mid 1950's, the young teacher Ernest falls in love with drag queen star Röbi. However, Ernest finds himself to struggle between his bourgeois life and sexual orientation. Later, he choose to become a member of the European homosexual organizations 'DER KREIS' and involves in human rights movement. Following the outbreak of World War II, dark clouds are hanging toward the 'DER KREIS', Ernest and Röbi.
