| Synopsis |
1940s, wound of the great war is still vivid while new shadow of war is emerging. In the middle of poverty and anxiety, Violette decide to be an author. She writes series of novel, memoir vividly depicting life as a woman. her story of abortion, homosexual affairs and eroticism shocked intellectuals and artists in France including Simone de beauvoir, Jean cocteau. the life of Violette Leduc, who didn’t hesitate to face her life as it is, will be revealed on the screen.
