| Synopsis |
After returning home from a walk, Seong-won falls asleep while writing a statement of conscientious objection. Although he tries to write the statement while preparing Seong-won his pacifist objection to compulsory military service, it's not an easy task. Reflecting his own story in this movie, director Sang Woo Kang is currently in jail for his conscientious objection.

강상우는 연세대학교 커뮤니케이션대학원에서 영화를 공부했고 '전쟁없는 세상'이라는 단체에서 활동 중이다. 자신의 이야기를 영화로 만든 <백서>가 밴쿠버국제영화제에 초청되었고, 인디포럼과 친구사이가 주관하는 '올해의 영화전' (2010)에서 대상을 수상했다. 서울LGBT영화제를 처음으로 방문하는 감독인데, 안타깝게도 양심적 병역거부로 지난 2월 말, 병역법 위반으로 1년 6개월 형을 선고 받고 복역 중이다.
