A married, Orthodox, Jerusalem butcher and Jewish father of four falls in love with his handsome, 22-year-old male apprentice, triggering the suspicions of his wife and the disapproval of his Orthodox community.

Haim Tabakman
Haim TABAKMAN (1975, Israel) studied film and television at the University of Tel Aviv. His two short films Free Loaders (2003) and The Poet’s Home (2004) were both selected for the student film programme Cinéfondation of the Cannes Film Festival. He was editor of David Volach's My Father, My Lord (2007). Eyes Wide Open (2009), his debut film, was screened in the Un Certain Régard section of the Cannes Film Festival.
