Synopsis

Syoko, a middle-aged teacher, has a hidden desire – to experience love with a girl. She keeps this secret to herself and pretends to enjoy married life. When her student, Manami, confesses her feelings for her, Syoko falls hopelessly in love. But her happiness is short-lived. “in the Dirt” traces a mature woman’s awkward path towards “true love.”
