Festival Director

Kim Jho Gwang Soo  Representative/Director

graduated from the Department of Theater and Film at Hanyang University. Before graduating, he was involved in a film production group called Youth Film Production and founded the film company **Generation Blue Films Productions** in 1997, where he has served as the representative to this day. He has produced numerous films, including <Happy End>, <Wanee And Junah>, <Jealousy Is My Middle Name>, <No Regret>, <Old Miss Diary>, <Boys of Tomorrow>, <Break Away>, <DETECTIVE K: Secret of Virtuous Widow>, <The Client>, <The Silenced>, <Blossom>, <Detective K: Secret of the Living Dead>, <Jo Pil-ho: The Dawning Rage>, and <Picnic>. Since 2008, he has also expanded his career as a film director, directing multiple works such as <Boy Meets Boy>, <Just Friends?>, <Love, 100โ„ƒ>, <Two Weddings and a Funeral>, <One Night Only>, <Made in Rooftop>, and <The New Employee: The Movie>.

LEE Young Jin Actress, Model

With her broad acting spectrum, actress Lee Young-jin has consistently been loved by audiences. Her starring role in the film <Between the Seasons>, which was selected as the opening film for the 2018 Seoul International Pride Film Festival, is just one example of her deep connection with the festival. Currently serving as an executive committee member of the Seoul International Pride Film Festival, she is also set to host the opening ceremony this year, further enhancing the significance of the festival. Lee is an actress whose future challenges in new genres are highly anticipated.




Rhana JANG Film Journalist 

After working as a reporter for the film magazines SCREEN, Movieweek, and Magazine M, she is now active as a film journalist. She hosted the interview segments Star Sketch and Rhana Jang's Angry Interviews on Olleh TV and co-hosted the comedy film podcast Comedy King with director Choi Hana of More than Family (2020). Currently, she appears on the 'Friday Salon' segment of KBS Radio Cool FM's Jo Jung-sik's FM Parade.



Kyu Choi  Artistic director of Seoul Performing Arts Festival

Kyu is a festival director, producer and researcher, currently working as artistic director of Seoul Performing Arts Festival (SPAF) from 2022-26 and has worked as creative director at Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS). His previous positions include: festival director and creative director for - UK/Korea Season Festival 2017-18, Chuncheon International Mime Festival, Ansan Street Arts Festival.



PARK Sungho Programmer of the Busan International Film Festival

PARK Sungho was born in Seoul, Korea in 1977. He majored in Film Editing at the Cinematography Department at Chung-Ang University. He participated in NGO activities for poverty relief in Tamil Nadu, India, and since 2007, he had served as a staff member of the Asian Film Academy at the Busan International Film Festival, and as the program coordinator for Asian cinema. Having traveled to 41 countries, Park settled in Cambodia in 2013. He produced short films and documentaries as a board member of the film production company Anti-Archive. Since 2019, he has been working as a programmer at the Busan International Film Festival to promote Southeast Asian films globally.



Michelle Son President of M-Line Distribution

Michelle Son, president of M-Line Distribution, is one of the 1st generation of Korean sales executives with extensive experience over 25 years.
M-Line Distribution represents more than300 fiction and documentary features of wide range from strong box-office hits to auteur-titles selected in numerous film festival.



KIM Kyu Jin Author

Kyu Jin KIM is an openly lesbian author and a powerful advocate for LGBTQ+ families in Korea.

While her primary career is in e-commerce management, Kyu Jin gained widespread recognition as the first openly lesbian in Korea to share her story of marriage & childbirth through mainstream media.

She continues to speak and write so that her daughter can grow up in a more accepting world.

KIM Yeong-deok  Chairperson of the Asian Contents & Film Market at the Busan International Film Festival

Born in 1968, this individual has been an active figure in the Asian film industry, excelling in film production, festival planning, and international cooperation. In 2001, they founded Flying Tiger Pictures and produced films such as <Cry Woman> (screened in the "Un Certain Regard" section at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival) and <Hanaan> by Korean-Uzbek director Park Ruslan (screened in the Concorso Cineasti del presente section at the 2010 Locarno 

International Film Festival). While working at Bom Film Productions, they produced Hong Sang-soo's <Night and Day>. After serving as a programmer and chief programmer at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival for 12 years, they were appointed the chair of the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) in March 2024.



KIM Young-woo  Programmer of the Seoul Independent Film Festival

KIM studied visual arts & TV at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He joined the selection committee of Busan IFF as a programmer in charge of Asian cinema until 2019. Working closely with Korean independent cinema groups, he is a board member of the Seoul Independent Film Festival and works as a programmer. He is currently working for Red Sea IFF as a programmer in charge of Asian cinema and as a program advisor to LOCARNO, IDFA, and more.
