Seoul International PRIDE Film Festival (SIPFF)
Diversity, Inclusion, Pride, Love, Equality, Solidarity
The Seoul International PRIDE Film Festival (hereinafter “SIPFF”) is the largest LGBTQ+ international film festival in Korea. Based on its six core values—Diversity, Inclusion, Pride, Love, Equality, and Solidarity—it plays a creative and vital role in expanding diversity within Korean cinema.
Each year, SIPFF presents outstanding Korean and international queer films, introducing audiences to the diverse lives and stories of LGBTQ+ communities around the world. Through this, the festival contributes to raising social awareness of LGBTQ+ existence and human rights.
As a hub of queer cinema in the Asia-Pacific region, SIPFF is also a founding member of the Asia-Pacific Queer Film Festival Alliance (APQFFA), which brings together 24 film festivals from 18 countries. Through various educational programs and civic exchanges, the festival strives to promote universal human rights and foster social and institutional change.
Grounded in these values, SIPFF aims to create a space where everyone can come together, enjoy, and communicate—contributing to a society where diverse voices and stories coexist.
