Synopsis

Such elements as pollution, social disorder, corruption to the chaos of modern society, may be called the ‘mud flat’. ‘Mud flat’ is repeatedly used as a symbolic motif for this film. Ji-na is infected with AIDS. She doesn’t know where or how she got the disease. In her frightened anger she decides to seek revenge against society by infecting as many people as she can. She first picks Park Moo-joong, an advertising photographer, who is depressed about a recent romantic break-up. Ji-na entices him and they spend a night together. The frightening word “AIDS” written in lipstick on the mirror.
